A person can be a dear friend without being the right partner for every plan.
GRATITUDE
GRATITUDE
Love for someone and suitability for a particular task are different measurements. The friend you would tell anything may be a poor choice for a business, a house share or a long drive, and noticing that is not a downgrade of the friendship. Trouble comes from treating closeness as a qualification, then blaming the person when the arrangement strains. The friendship usually survives; it simply should not have been asked to do that job.
Before involving someone you love in something practical, ask what the plan actually needs and whether they enjoy that kind of work. Choose for fit, and say so kindly.
