A small bed cared for well can bring more joy than a large one avoided.
GRATITUDE
GRATITUDE
Ambition about size regularly defeats the thing it was meant to serve. A plot bigger than your week turns into guilt you can see from the kitchen window, and eventually you stop looking out of it altogether. Something small enough to stay on top of remains a pleasure, and pleasure is what keeps you coming back.
Cut whatever you are tending down to the size you can actually manage in the hours you have. You can always add a row next season, once you are enjoying it again.
What would you tend better if you let it be smaller?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
