A holiday should not make one person’s comfort the price of everyone else’s fun.

Group trips tend to optimize for the majority and quietly assign the leftover discomfort to one person: the one who sleeps on the sofa, drives every leg, eats around their own needs, or gets the room by the road. Nobody decides this. It accumulates through a series of reasonable small choices, and by the third day one person has had a different holiday from everyone else.
Before the trip, ask who is carrying what, and rotate the parts nobody wants. Check midway rather than at the end, when it is still fixable. If you are the accommodating one, say what you need early, while it can still be arranged easily.
