The final score cannot tell the whole story of a person returning to an activity they love.

REFLECTION
Scores measure one afternoon against a standard that has nothing to do with why someone came back. The person on the court after ten years away, or after an injury, is measuring something else entirely: whether the body remembers, whether the pleasure is still there, whether they will return next week.
If you are the one coming back, decide before you start what would make the day good, and let the score be a detail. If you are watching, ask what it felt like rather than how it went. Most people who return to something quit again because of how the first few outings were talked about.
What does returning to a loved activity give you beyond results?
