The audience you attract with constant outrage may not stay for your calmer thoughts.

What draws people in also sets what they came for. An audience gathered by anger arrives expecting anger, and when a quieter, more careful piece appears, it reads to them as a loss of nerve rather than a change of subject. You end up with a crowd that will only reward one register.

Look at what your last several posts had in common, and ask whether that is what you want to be asked for. If not, start putting the calmer work out now. Expect the numbers to drop and let them, because a smaller audience that wants your actual thinking is worth more.
