Let the phone serve the plan instead of becoming the reason the plan never fully begins.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

A phone is very good at the moments just before something starts. You look up the place, check one message, glance at the time, and forty minutes later the walk has not happened and the evening has quietly been spent. It rarely announces itself as a decision, which is why the plan does not get cancelled so much as postponed out of existence.

Decide in advance which part of the day the phone is for, and let it do that job. Put it in another room or a bag for one defined stretch this week. Notice how quickly the thing you meant to do begins once deciding is over.
