The responsibility you carry quietly should still be included when you judge your available time.

REFLECTION
Some of the heaviest work never appears on any schedule. Checking on a parent, holding a household’s logistics in your head, being the person a struggling friend calls: none of it has a start time, and all of it takes real hours and real attention. Because it is invisible, you judge your capacity as though those hours were free, then wonder why everything else keeps slipping.
Write the quiet responsibilities down and give each an honest weekly number. Subtract that before you decide what else can fit. If someone asks whether you have time, answer from the real total rather than the one on the calendar.
What unpaid work of yours never appears in your calendar?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
