The way you handle a modest job tells people how seriously you take their needs.

How someone handles a small job is read as evidence about the large ones, and reasonably so. When the task is minor, nobody is watching, and there is no reward for care, what shows up is your actual working standard rather than your presentation of it. People notice whether their small need was treated as a nuisance or as a need.
Take the least interesting thing on your list this week and do it properly: on time, finished, and reported back. Tell the person it is done instead of leaving them to check. Small work handled well is most of a reputation.
