The person learning to garden needs permission to change a plan after watching it grow.

CREATIVITY
A plan drawn on paper cannot know what a place will actually do. Light moves through a garden differently than expected, some plants sulk, others take over, and the only way to find out is a season of watching. Treating the original design as a commitment turns useful information into evidence of failure; revision is the method, not a departure from it.
Give yourself explicit permission to move things after the first year. Keep a few notes on what struggled and where, and use them rather than the drawing.
What have you watched closely enough to change your mind about?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
