An ordinary dinner can become a celebration when somebody names what went well.
GRATITUDE
GRATITUDE
Most good things pass unmarked because nobody says them out loud. A day that included a small win, a difficulty handled, a piece of luck, ends up filed as ordinary simply because it was never mentioned at the table. Saying it changes the record, for everyone sitting there and especially for whoever did the thing.
At your next meal with other people, ask what went well today and answer it yourself first. Keep it short and let it be small. Do it a few times and others will start bringing something.
What went well today that nobody at your table has named?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
