A changed mind needs room to become consistent with the change in ordinary behavior.

CREATIVITY
Deciding is quick and behaving is slow. You can genuinely change your mind on a Tuesday and still find yourself on the Thursday doing what the old view would have done, because habit runs ahead of intention. From outside that gap looks like insincerity, and from inside it looks like failure. It is usually neither, only the lag between a decision and the hundred routines built on the previous one.
Allow yourself a few weeks of not matching yourself yet, and change one routine rather than all of them. Extend the same allowance to someone who has told you they now see things differently.
Which new conviction has not yet reached your daily habits?
