Integrity means your private behavior does not embarrass your public identity.

The test of integrity is whether the two halves of your life could be introduced to each other without difficulty. Not whether everything private should be public, but whether anything private would contradict what you publicly claim to be. Where the two conflict, the private version is the true one.
Rather than trying to hide better, ask what you would want to change if the two were merged tomorrow. Then change that thing. It is a more direct route than managing the seam, and it removes a background tension most people carry without naming it.
What private habit would you not want described publicly?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
