A harbor holds boats whose departures depend on more than their owners’ wishes.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Wanting to go is never the whole of going. The boats sit there because of weather, tide, a part that has not arrived, money that has not come in, and none of that answers to how strongly anyone wishes otherwise. A harbour is largely full of intentions waiting on conditions. That is a normal state for a plan to be in, not evidence that the plan was wrong.

If you are stuck, separate what you are genuinely waiting on from what is still in your hands. Do the second in small amounts, so that when conditions turn you are ready rather than starting.
