The morning light can make a worry look different without proving the worry was imaginary.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Night exaggerates and morning deflates, and neither one is a verdict. A problem that felt enormous at two o’clock often looks manageable by nine, which tempts you to conclude it was never real. Sometimes that is right. Sometimes the problem is genuine and daylight has only restored your capacity to face it, which is a different and better thing.
When something looks smaller in the morning, write one sentence about what would actually need to happen. If nothing does, you can let it go, and if something does, you now have the energy to begin it.
Which worry shrinks by morning and still deserves your attention?
