The person awake before everyone else may be enjoying quiet or carrying unseen responsibility.

REFLECTION
Early rising looks like a single habit and covers two opposite conditions. One person is taking an hour that belongs to nobody else, and another is up because a child, a patient, a shift or a worry has claimed it. From outside both look disciplined, and only one of them was chosen. Admiring the habit without knowing which it is can land oddly on somebody who would rather be asleep.
If someone in your house is always up first, ask what those hours are actually for. And if you are the one awake, it is worth knowing whether your morning is a pleasure or a duty in disguise.
When you wake early, is it peace or duty pulling you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
