A trustworthy person does not need constant opportunities to prove they are trustworthy.

LEADERSHIP
Someone genuinely reliable does not need to demonstrate it. The behaviour is already there in ordinary conduct, visible in small things, and does not require staging. The person who keeps arranging situations to prove their trustworthiness is usually working to establish something the record does not.
Rather than looking for chances to be seen as reliable, attend to whether you are. Keep the minor commitments, be where you said, do the unglamorous half. The reputation follows from that at its own pace and is much more durable than anything you could arrange.
Who trusts you without needing you to prove it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
