Integrity turns self-respect into behavior.

LEADERSHIP
Self-respect that never appears in behaviour is only a feeling, and feelings are easy to hold and easy to contradict. Integrity is what converts it into something real: the actual refusal, the actual boundary, the actual standard kept when it was inconvenient. Without that conversion, the respect has nothing to stand on.
Ask what your self-respect would look like as an action this week. It is usually specific and slightly uncomfortable: a request you make, a thing you decline, a truth you tell. Do that one, and let it be the evidence rather than the feeling.
What behaviour of yours comes straight from self-respect?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
