The person moving aside has made room for a journey they do not need to understand.

Making room does not require knowing why. Someone steps back on a narrow path, holds a door, shifts a bag off a seat, and whatever the other person needs that space for stays entirely their own business. A great deal of decent behaviour works this way: it asks nothing, checks nothing, and is offered before an explanation could be given. Access is mostly built from small unremarkable acts of yielding.
This week, notice how often you wait for a reason before giving way. Try moving first and asking nothing. Nobody should have to make a case for the space they need.
Whose path have you supported without needing it explained to you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
