A modest contribution may be essential without being easy to summarize.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Importance and describability come apart more often than organisations admit. Some contributions consist of small corrections, timely questions and quiet prevention, none of which produce a line anyone can quote, yet remove the person and things begin to fail in ways nobody predicted. What is easy to summarise gets celebrated. What is hard to summarise gets assumed.

Think of someone whose part in your work you would struggle to describe in one line, and try writing three lines instead. Send it to them, or to whoever decides such things. Specific description is the only defence unsummarisable work has.
