The first weekday without work can feel unfamiliar even when freedom was wanted.

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Wanting a change does not prevent it from feeling strange. A Tuesday morning with nothing in it removes not just the tasks but the scaffolding that told you what hour it was, who you were to other people, and when you had earned a rest. That disorientation is not regret and it is not a sign you chose wrongly. It is what happens when a structure you leaned on for years is suddenly not there.

Give yourself a few weeks before judging how it is going, and put two fixed points in the week to lean on meanwhile. Something to attend, and someone expecting you.
