An ordinary improvement can be valuable without introducing a new system around it.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Not every good change needs scaffolding built around it. A hook by the door, a shorter route, one habit adjusted: these work fine on their own, and wrapping them in a tracker or a rule often adds more upkeep than benefit. The impulse to systematise usually arrives from wanting the improvement to be permanent, but permanence comes from the thing being easy, not from being monitored.

Pick the smallest version of whatever you have been meaning to improve and just do it, without a chart. If it holds for a fortnight without any support structure, you have your answer about whether one was needed.
