Language shapes problems by deciding how they are named.

How a problem is named determines what solutions become thinkable. Called a discipline problem, it invites one set of responses; called a design problem, an entirely different set. The name arrives early, usually without deliberation, and then quietly restricts everything that follows.
With something you have been stuck on, try renaming it. Write the problem three different ways and see which solutions each version suggests. Often the original name was doing the work of keeping you stuck, and simply describing the situation differently makes an obvious next step appear.
