The storm did not ask whether you were ready, but surviving it taught you readiness anyway.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Nobody gets to schedule the hard seasons, and there is rarely anything fair about their timing. What is true afterwards is that you now know something you could not have learned in theory: how you actually function when the ground moves. That knowledge was expensive and you did not choose to buy it. It is still yours to keep.
When you have some distance, try writing down what you learned about your own limits and resources during that time. Not as a silver lining, just as a record. Knowing what you did last time is useful the next time something arrives without warning.
What did you get through before you felt anywhere near ready?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
