We hate some persons because we do not know them; and we will not know them because we hate them.

CREATIVITY
Dislike builds its own wall and then keeps it standing. Not knowing someone leaves room for the worst interpretation, and once that interpretation is in place you avoid the contact that would correct it, so the view hardens on a foundation of nothing. Whole groups get treated this way as well as individuals. The loop is very hard to see from inside, because it feels like caution rather than avoidance.
Choose one person or group you have formed a view about at a distance. Arrange the ordinary contact you have been avoiding, and go with the intention of learning something rather than confirming anything.
Whom do you dislike without ever having spoken with them?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
