Love’s sweetest meanings are unspoken; the full heart knows no rhetoric of words.

GRATITUDE
Strong feeling tends to make people worse at speaking rather than better. Fluency comes easily when the stakes are low, and the most polished declarations are often the ones that cost least. What a full heart produces is usually clumsy, or silent, or expressed by turning up and doing something. That is worth knowing in both directions.
Judge the people close to you by what they arrange rather than by what they say beautifully. And when you cannot find words for someone, stop hunting for them. Say the plain version, or make the meal, or just sit there; eloquence was never the point.
What have you shown someone that you never managed to say?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
