A simple life can contain complicated wisdom.

REFLECTION
Simplicity in arrangement is not simplicity in understanding. A life with few moving parts can hold a great deal of accumulated judgment about people, work, and time, and often holds more than a complicated one because there was room to notice things. Complexity is not evidence of depth.
Be careful about dismissing quiet lives, including possibly your own. Ask what a person has actually learned rather than how much is going on. Those are unrelated measures.
Who do you know with a plain life and unusual understanding?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
