Nothing happens to anybody which he is not fitted by nature to bear.

RESILIENCE
People turn out to be able to carry more than they expected, and they almost never believe it in advance. That is no promise that anything is easy or that suffering is deserved, only that capacity appears when it is needed and not before. The version of you that is frightened is not the version that will be doing the carrying.
If something ahead of you looks unbearable, notice that you are judging it with the strength you have today. Take the next day only. Bearing something has never meant bearing it alone, so let the people near you take some of the weight.
What did you survive that you were sure would break you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
