There is a burden of care in getting riches, fear in keeping them, temptation in using them, guilt in abusing them, sorrow in losing them, and a burden of account at last to be given up concerning them.

LEADERSHIP
Money carries a weight at every stage, and the weight does not stop when the getting does. Acquiring it takes effort, holding it takes vigilance, spending it raises questions about what you are for, and losing it hurts. None of that is an argument for poverty, which has burdens of its own and worse ones.
What it does argue for is knowing what your money is actually meant to do. Write down what you want it for: security for a number of years, a particular freedom, help for particular people. Money with a purpose is lighter to carry than money kept as a score.
Which stage of having money worries you most right now?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
