Every one is bound to bear patiently the results of his own example.

LEADERSHIP
When people around you copy what you did, you have limited standing to complain about it. The tone you set gets returned: the corner cut, the sharp remark, the rule bent once for convenience. This holds at home more than anywhere, where the copying is closest and least conscious.
Look at a behaviour in your household or team that irritates you and check where it was first modelled. If it came from you, change it at the source and say so. Bearing the results patiently is the price when it did not.
What behaviour of yours are others now copying back at you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
