Getting what you wanted is a question about the fit between desire and outcome, and it can be answered yes while a life still feels thin. Asking what you became useful for changes the direction of the accounting, from what came in to what went out, and that question tends to produce a fuller answer.
Try the second question about the past year. It will highlight different things than the first one does, and usually better ones.
What have you become useful for over the past few years?
