REFLECTION
Recognising something good before anyone else does is its own contribution. Ideas do not travel on their own, since somebody has to hear a line, see what it is worth and carry it into a new room. The people who do this reliably shape what a field pays attention to almost as much as the people producing the work.
Pay attention to what you are amplifying. When something genuinely good crosses your path, pass it on with the name attached rather than absorbing it quietly. Being the person who spots and shares good work is a real position, and very few people are competing for it.
Whose good idea did you notice first and pass along?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
