The crowning fortune of a man is to be born to some pursuit which finds him employment and happiness, whether it be to make baskets, or broadswords, or canals, or statues, or songs.

GRATITUDE
The best luck a person can have is work that suits them and pays them, and the content of it matters far less than the fit. Making baskets well is not a lesser life than making statues. The rare alignment is where the thing you are good at, the thing you enjoy and the thing someone will pay for are the same thing.
If you have that, notice it rather than assuming everyone does. If you do not, look for the overlap in smaller pieces: which parts of your current work you would do anyway. Build slowly towards more of those rather than waiting for the whole arrangement to appear.
What work would you do gladly on an ordinary Tuesday?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
