If you do not wish for His kingdom do not pray for it. But if you do you must do more than pray for it, you must work for it.

GRATITUDE
Wanting something and asking for it are not the same as being willing to build it. A stated hope that produces no work is not really a hope, it is a preference, and preferences cost nothing. The test of what you actually want is what you are prepared to give up for it.
Take something you say you want, for the world or for your own life, and find the smallest piece of it that is yours to do. Do that piece this week. Then check whether you were willing, because that answer tells you more than any amount of declaring.
What do you hope for without lifting a finger toward it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
