There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.

REFLECTION
Most of what you experience as good or bad arrives through an appraisal you made without noticing. The event is one thing; the verdict you attach to it is another, and the verdict does most of the emotional work. This has limits, since some things are simply harmful and no reframing makes them otherwise. But a surprising number of daily miseries are arrangements of thought rather than facts.
Take the thing that has been irritating you and separate what happened from what you decided it meant. Ask whether someone else could hold the same facts with a different verdict. If they could, the verdict is yours to revisit.
What have you labelled a disaster that could be read otherwise?
