All the forces in the world are not so powerful as an idea whose time has come.

STILLNESS
Timing is doing as much work here as the idea. The same proposal can be dismissed for decades and then become obvious within a year, without changing at all, because the conditions around it moved. That is a strange thing to sit with if you are early: being right is not sufficient, and being ignored is not evidence of being wrong.
If you are carrying something nobody wants yet, keep it alive cheaply rather than forcing it. Make it easy to explain, put it in front of people occasionally, and be ready. Much of the work is done by circumstances you do not control.
What change around you feels inevitable now that it started?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
