Resourcefulness begins when “I don’t have it” becomes “what do I have?”

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

The first sentence closes the problem, the second opens it. Focusing on what is missing produces a list you cannot act on, while inventorying what is present produces material. Same situation, entirely different set of available moves. What you cannot name is not available to you, and most inventories are shorter than the reality.

When you find yourself blocked by an absence, write down what you do have, in detail and including things that seem irrelevant. Then ask what could be built from that list alone.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

What do you already have that could serve for now?
