The world turns aside to let any man pass who knows where he is going.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Hesitation invites interference. When you are unsure of your direction, every opinion, request and distraction has a claim on you, because nothing yet outranks it. Once you know where you are headed, most of that stops being an obstacle and becomes something you simply pass, often without much of a conversation.

The world does not always cooperate, and some barriers are real however clear you are. But much of the resistance people meet is made of invitations they could not turn down because they had no reason to. Notice what you agreed to this week that a clear direction would have let you walk past.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

What decision keeps stalling because you have not picked a direction?
