RESILIENCE
Attention is the most powerful thing anyone in charge supplies. Standards, pace and care all shift when the person responsible is actually looking, not through supervision or threat but because attention communicates what matters. Doing the work yourself consumes the scarcest hours you have, while noticing accurately improves several things at once. Neglect shows in a business or a household faster than effort can repair it.
Walk through the parts of your work or your home you have stopped really looking at. Not to correct anything on the first pass, just to see the state of them. Most problems have been visible for a while to anybody who looked.
