Do not fight ten enemies when one root problem feeds all of them.

When several problems appear at once, the instinct is to work on all of them, which spreads you thin and lets each one regenerate. Often they share a source, whether that is a lack of sleep, an unspoken disagreement, or a broken piece of process, and dealing with the source removes them together while the ten separate battles remove none.
List what is currently going wrong and look for what sits under more than one item. Then put a month into the root rather than a week into each symptom. It feels slower for a while and then several things improve at once.
