Pressure the weak point, not the entire structure.

Applying pressure everywhere at once spreads your force thin and hardens the whole structure against you. Most things that resist have one point where they are actually vulnerable, and finding it takes an examination rather than an assault. That search feels like a delay and generally saves far more time than it costs.
Before your next push, ask which single element, if it gave way, would bring the rest with it. Put your effort entirely there for a fixed period. If nothing moves, look again for a different weak point rather than widening the attack.
What is the weakest point in the problem facing you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
