Good questions turn walls into components.

A wall is what you get when you ask a question too big to answer. Asking narrower questions turns the same situation into parts, some of which are already solved and some of which are approachable. The wall did not become smaller. It became several things, and things can be dealt with in a way that walls cannot.
When you meet something that feels solid, write five specific questions about it. Aim for ones with findable answers rather than profound ones. The act of asking well usually does more than any single answer you get back.
What question would open the wall you keep running into?
