All truth is not to be told at all times.

REFLECTION
Honesty means what you say is true, not that you must say everything you know the moment you notice it. Timing, standing and purpose all matter, and a true thing delivered at the wrong moment can do harm that accuracy never repairs. There is also a bluntness that is really about relief for the speaker. Holding something back for another person’s sake is different from lying.
Before delivering something hard, ask who the telling is for. If the honest answer is that it will make you feel better and them worse, wait. If it genuinely serves them, think about when and where, because those choices carry as much weight as the words.
Which honest remark of yours is waiting for a better moment?
