I speak the truth not so much as I would, but as much as I dare, and I dare a little more as I grow older.

RESILIENCE
Honesty is rarely limited by what you know. It is limited by what you can bear to say out loud, and that limit moves. Each time you say a true thing and survive the saying of it, the next true thing costs a little less.
Notice the gap this week between what you thought and what you actually said. Pick one small place where the gap was wider than it needed to be, and close a little of it. Not the hardest truth you carry, just one you can afford now.
What would you say now that you could not say younger?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
