Look back, and smile on perils past.

RESILIENCE
Danger that is over stops being danger and becomes something you carried. While it was happening it was all weight and no shape, and only from a distance can you see that you came through, and roughly how. The smile is not a claim that any of it was fine; some of it was not. It is recognition that you are standing on the other side of it.
Bring to mind something that frightened you a few years ago and is now simply finished. Notice what you did then that you had no idea you could do. Let that count as evidence the next time the ground feels unsteady.
What old danger can you now remember almost fondly?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
