Love is a symbol of eternity. It wipes out all sense of time, destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end.

GRATITUDE
There are hours with someone that do not feel located in time. While they last, you are not counting how long you have known them or how long it can go on. That is part of what people mean by love: a state where the clock stops being the point. It does not make anything permanent, but it does suspend the worry about permanence.
Watch for the moments this week when you stop checking how long something has left. Put yourself in one on purpose: a long meal, an unhurried walk, a call with no reason to end. More of that time comes from not measuring it.
When were you last with someone and lost track of time?
