Homesick is just your heart proving it had a good place to miss.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Missing a place badly means the place was worth something, which is an uncomfortable form of good news. Nobody aches for somewhere that never gave them anything. The feeling is not a sign you made the wrong move or that you cannot cope; it is the cost of having had somewhere that fit. Usually it gets quieter without ever disappearing entirely.
Keep a thread back rather than trying to cut it. A regular call, a familiar food, a photo you do not scroll past. Then give the new place one routine that belongs only to it.
