Some days are the song you’d skip. It still ends, and the next track is coming.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
A bad day does not have to be salvaged to be survivable. There is a strong pull toward rescuing it, turning it around, finding the lesson, when often the only thing available is that it ends. Days are short units. Treating a poor one as a verdict on the week hands it more authority than it earned.
Go to bed at a reasonable hour and let it be over, rather than staying up trying to repair the mood. Make the first hour of tomorrow different in one small way. That is usually enough to break the run.
Which day this week would you skip if you could?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
