The people who go the furthest aren’t the ones with all the answers. They’re the ones asking better questions.

LEADERSHIP
Having answers is a fixed position; asking well is a method that keeps producing. People who advance tend to be the ones who can work out what the actual problem is, which is mostly a matter of what they ask and who they ask it of. Knowing things ages badly, especially now. The habit of inquiry does not age at all.
Before your next difficult task, spend five minutes writing what you do not understand rather than starting immediately. Ask the most specific question you can of the best available person. Precision in the question does most of the work.
What better question could you ask instead of pretending to know?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
