Failure becomes progress when behavior changes because of it.

The test of whether you learned something is not whether you can articulate it but whether you do anything differently. Insight that does not change behaviour is just a well-phrased memory of pain. Progress shows up in the altered action, not in the account of the lesson.
After a failure, name one thing you will do differently and make it specific enough to notice: a different first step, a check you will run, a person you will ask. Then watch whether you actually do it. That observation is the real measure.
What did you actually do differently after your last setback?
