Stop waiting for fairness before building options.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Fairness may arrive and may not, and building your options is not contingent on it. Waiting for the situation to be put right is a reasonable moral position and a poor practical one, because the waiting itself costs you time you cannot recover. You can pursue both, but do not let one block the other.

While you press for what is fair, start building an alternative in parallel. Give it real hours. Having somewhere else to go usually improves your position in the unfair situation too.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

What could you start building before anything becomes fair?
